Our ICS team is our boots on the ground. Their primary responsibility is to guarantee that every registered farmer and collector supplying our processing facility strictly adheres to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). By managing the process meticulously at the farm level, we ensure 100% traceability and organic integrity for our international buyers.
Strict SOPs for Sap Tapping and Cooking
The journey of our world-class organic sugar begins with the nira (coconut sap). Our ICS team conducts regular field visits to verify that farmers are using the correct, hygienic tools during the tapping process.
Beyond the harvest, the ICS team also closely oversees the traditional cooking phase. They ensure that the cooking environment and methods meet our rigorous food safety and purity protocols, guaranteeing that no unauthorized substances ever touch the product.
Dedicated Storage Protocols at Collection Points
Our commitment to quality extends to our local collection points. To prevent any risk of cross-contamination before the raw materials even reach our factory in Banyumas, our ICS enforces strict storage rules for all our partnered collectors.
All supplied sugar must be stored in dedicated, hygienic rooms. Furthermore, the product cannot be placed directly on the floor; it must be stored on specialized pallets that are explicitly provided by PT Javelo Terra Lestari. This standardized storage protocol ensures that the organic coconut sugar remains safe, dry, and pure during transit.
